Ann Ferraguto
Ms. Ann Ferraguto has over 21 years of experience in real estate and airport development, particularly commercial development within public-use facilities. Her specialty areas include retail and food service, commercial property development, and performance improvement. Ms. Ferraguto has been involved in analyzing food service and retail conditions, retail analysis and planning, the development of revenue and image enhancement strategies, market research, developing performance measurement systems, business process reengineering, and financial analyses. She has managed the planning efforts for numerous successful retail programs at campuses, medical facilities, and airports, including facilities at the National Institutes of Health and Johns Hopkins University and new airport terminals such as those in New York (JetBlue’s new Terminal 5 at JFK International), Washington, DC (Reagan National and Dulles International), Chicago (Midway), Calgary, Providence, Raleigh-Durham, Vancouver, and Brisbane (Australia) as well as redeveloped terminals such as those in Baltimore, Edmonton, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, Jamaica, Madison (WI), Minneapolis/St. Paul, Montreal, Orlando, Palm Beach, Raleigh-Durham, Spokane, and Barbados, among others.  Ms. Ferraguto has managed numerous concession planning teams over the years, coordinating architects, planners, retail leasing specialists, market researchers, and financial analysts. 

Ann Ferraguto has been a leader in the airport concession industry for many years and served on the panel that wrote the ACI-NA Contracting Procedures Handbook in the 1990’s.  She has served on the Economic Steering Group with ACI-NA on more than one occasion, recently completing over two years as the Associate Representative on ACI-NA’s Commercial and Business Management Committee.  She has also served on the Planning Committee for the ACI-NA Concessions Conference for three consecutive years.  Ms. Ferraguto is often asked to speak at industry conferences and is regularly called upon for comment by leading publications and media, including The New York Times, Forbes, Aviation Daily/Airports, USA Today, U.S. News and World Report, Business 2.0 Magazine, Crain’s Business, and Airport Revenue News, among others.

Prior to co-founding AirProjects, Ms. Ferraguto worked for major airport and transportation consulting firms, Ernst & Young’s national real estate practice, a Washington, DC area real estate developer, and the Metropolitan Washington Airports. In addition to her commercial development experience, she has a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance and a master’s degree in finance.
