When Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) decided to update and expand their concession program, AirProjects was brought in to manage the concession planning team’s work and prepare a concession master plan (including retail, food service, and consumer services).  The new plan covered the entire airport, including the concession program for the new Southwest Concourses A and B. Services rendered included demand and sales projections, detailed concession layouts, unit concepts, assistance with solicitation documents, and proposal evaluation.  In addition, the firm has maintained an “on-call” business consulting contract with the Airport to assist them with various business planning efforts.  

BWI’s new concession program won Airport Revenue News’ award for the Airport with the Best Concessions Design in 2006.
